At least two Instagram accounts, claiming to be soldiers with the Givati brigade, shared what appeared to be drone footage showing buildings in the neighborhood in flames. An unidentified voice, presumably a soldier, is heard on the video saying they're setting out for "operation eighth night of Hannukah" to burn Shuja'iyya. "Let our enemies learn and be deterred...We will annihilate them to dust," the voice adds.

Pro Palestine student protesters occupied and barricaded themselves at the CSULA admin building in Los Angeles last night, to protest the genocide in Gaza that the university administration supports. The students used various tactics and left before the police arrived to make arrests. At what point will these universities divest from Israeli genocidal interests and listen to their students and put Palestinian life above such things as damaged property?

Dr. Israa Al-Naqeeb, 25 years old. Her mother, father, and 20 members of her family were martyred in an Israeli bombing that targeted her house. She survived under the rubble and after recovering, returned to her work at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.

Despite the restrictions and barriers that separated the north and Gaza City from the center and south of the Gaza Strip, the people of the north will definitely say: Eid Mubarak to the people of the south and vice versa, especially since this is the second Eid we are experiencing in the shadow of war. The roses of the people of the north have reached the people of the south. Pray that the war ends soon and the people of the north get to meet the people in the south.

Two girls in Rafah are searching for sweets amidst the rubble of a recently bombed site. The girls explain how they gathered biscuits and chocolate from the debris. One child mentions that they were staying in a nearby camp when the bombardment happened, causing them to panic and flee, leaving their furniture behind. Despite finding some sweets, the children eventually decide to throw them away, lamenting that it would have been better if the sweets had been distributed before the bombing.
