🔴 Technical Report: Pile Driving Noise Survey This important report analyzes underwater noise levels captured by Rand Acoustics, LLC of wind turbine piles driving at the Vineyard Wind 1 offshore project in waters south of Massachusetts. Measurements were taken at six different distances from active pile driving. Rand determined in his review that the levels measured (in decibels) exceeded the thresholds intended to protect marine mammals.
