The index closed at 23,123, down by 1.04%. - Resistance is positioned at 23,300, with immediate support at 22,900 Bank Nifty Details: - Nifty Bank witnessed a volatile trading session and managed to close on a weak note, ending at 54,496.25, up by 0.35%. - Resistance is marked at 55,000 with vital support at 53,800. Midcap and Smallcap Details: - Nifty Midcap and Smallcap opened with a gap-down and witnessed a highly volatile trading session. Both indices saw some recovery during the first half; however, selling pressure intensified in the latter half, particularly in Smallcaps.
