Sudan Doctors for Human Rights *Urgent call* The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, the African Union, World Health Organization, Governmental and non-governmental organizations around the world Military coup in Sudan We call for urgent action and taking the necessary measures to put an end to the serious violations of human rights and public freedoms that are taking place in Sudan following the military coup carried out by the military members of the Transitional Sovereignty Council. The current situation portends a rapid and catastrophic descent into violence that is difficult to control, compared to what happened on June 3, 2019 in what is known as the massacre of the General Command, which was carried out by the same group that is carrying out the coup now and is now controlling the reins of affairs. According to the information we have received, there are disturbing news about the arrest of civilian members of the transitional government, in clear violation of human rights and public freedoms, especially since some detainees suffer from health conditions that require urgent medical care. We have also noticed disturbing images on social media of bullets being fired at peaceful demonstrators, which constitutes a serious violation of human rights by the de facto authority in Sudan. We will closely monitor the situation and publish reports of violations on the ground

ميليشيا الدعم السريع والمجلس العسكري تستمر في قطع خدمات الإنترنت والاتصالات الداخلية منذ فجر الخامس والعشرين من أكتوبر وحتى هذه اللحظة للتعتيم على الانتهاكات المروّعة الممارسة بحق الثوار العُزّل الرافضين للانقلاب العسكري واختطاف الحكومة الشرعية. تقارير لجنة الأطباء المركزية تشير إلى استشهاد سبعة من الثوار وإصابة حوالي 150 معظمها إصابات خطيرة وتوقعات أن يكون عدد الإصابات الحقيقي أكبر بكثير. تناشد لجنة الأطباء المركزية الجمعيات الحقوقية ومنظمات حقوق الإنسان وشرفاء المجتمع الدولي بمساندة المطالب الحرة والعادلة للشعب السوداني وإيصال صوته في ظل محاولات المجلس العسكري لتكميم صوت الحقيقة والالتفاف على مطالب الشعب. The Rapid Support Forces and the Military Council have continued to cut off internet connection and internal communications since the dawn of the twenty-fifth of October until this moment in order to conceal the horrific violations committed against the defenseless protesters who reject the military coup and hijacking of the legitimate government. Reports of the Central Committee of Doctors indicate that 7 protesters at least died & 150 wounded, most of them are severely injured. It is expected that the real number of casualties will be much higher.
