[AMSA International JAMSA Masterclass: Open Registration] In this modern era of medical research, aspiring doctors are inundated with study, paperwork, projects, competitions, and conferences. But amidst this whirlwind, what fuels your passion for research and shields you from burnout? How can you genuinely love research? 7th Diving Medicine Summer School in Croatia 🇭🇷 Date: 2 to 9 July 2024 The summer school will be held in Croatia, the town of Rijeka and will include 12 hours of lectures held by some of the best experts in the field of hyperbaric medicine in Croatia. It will also include a diving class consisting of 5 dives after which the participants will be awarded an official international certificate for diving up to 18 meters! Also, this year we're offering an Advanced Open Water Diving course for those who already have an OWD certificate! AMSC is the Asian Medical Students’ Conference, a flagship conference of AMSA International that involves the participation of hundreds of medical students at summer yearly since its inception in 1980. It is also one of the largest medical students conference in the region, drawing participants from over 28 countries. The AMSC comprises of three main aspects: academic, sociocultural, and community service programmes. This event allows medical students from AMSA Members to congregate, discuss and present their projects and research which were conducted based on the theme agreed upon for the conference that year. In addition, delegates can also experience different traditions and customs through the cultural events organised throughout course of the conference and network with future doctors across Asia, regardless of nationality, ethnicity, religion, or race. The conference will be held physically in Tokyo/Chiba, Japan (21st-27th July 2024). Delegates can choose to participate either onsite or online. The cost for the on-site component is ~500USD per pax (exclusive of airfare) and 20 USD per pax for the online option. The theme of AMSC 2024 is ‘Disaster Medicine', with the aim to raise awareness, discuss and explore possible solutions to Disaster Medicine related issues and allow us to tackle such unpredictabilities as future medical practitioners. You may participate as an academic or general delegate! 1.
