The latest video of Podolyaka (https://t.me/yurasumy/7591) gives a clue about why the expected Russian winter offensive just didn't come, during the short period during which Russia has a numerical advantage: 1- There simply aren't enough winter uniforms 2- There isn't enough equipment ready (artillery and armoured vehicules) A large amount of summer uniforms are being sawn. We can hope that Alexey Navalny is contributing, that would be the best he's ever done for Russia. Thousands of old amoured vehicules and other pieces of equipment are being taken out of their long-term storage and repaired. So now we can expect a second wave of mobilization in Russia during spring.

Почему в России до сих пор нет второй волны мобилизации? С чисто военной точки зрения вторая волна должна была бы уже заканчиваться. Но она пока еще даже не начиналась. Между тем, она неизбежна... Ссылка на первоисточник на РУТУБ:

Interesting revelation on a Belarussian TV channel, post by Podolyaka https://t.me/yurasumy/7445) : Why Poroshenko offered to give Donbass away, and why Putin did not take it, back then? An interesting interview of Viktor Medvedchuk to Belarusian television. What is interesting to me personally is that it completely repeats the version that I have been promoting since 2015, explaining why Russia does not take Donbass, and that Kiev really wants to get rid of it. The answer is the same as then, because the President of Russia initially understood that the issue was not in the Donbass. That the struggle is for the whole of Ukraine. And nothing else. Because a civil war can only be ended by a complete and final victory for one of the parties. And nothing else. yes, I wanted (and hoped) that without a big war. But it didn't work out. Now it is already possible to talk about this openly, and the negotiator from Kiev Medvedchuk, in fact, says this. OPENLY. I think that in the near future, in connection with the changed circumstances, we will learn a lot more interesting points that politicians could not voice publicly at that time ... but now they can. The Ukrainian / Western war propaganda machine is repeating accusations of Russian S-300 destroying an appartment building, this time in Kharkov. It doesn't make more sense than the previous accusations, see https://t.me/ukr_leaks_eng/1407 to understand why, and what actually happened. Main points: The S-300 can't strike a target on the ground beyond the horizon of the radar directing it. The Ukrainian S-300, used for its purpose of anti-air defence, did not receive normal maintenance since the collapse of USSR, and have long passed their shell life.

Ukrainian S-300 complexes: a threat for residential buildings and Polish tractors For almost a year now, the Ukrainian authorities, reporting on the shelling of their cities and civilians, are stubbornly trying to shift the blame for the destruction of civilian objects to the Russian army. Kiev propagandists like to explain the civilian casualties by the strikes of Russian S-300 missiles. At the same time, we constantly hear that Ukrainian missiles do not capture targets, go off course and fall. This has happened many times before. Residential high-rises in Kiev, tractors in Poland and fields in Belarus immediately come to mind. I decided to look into this issue and find out whether Russian air defense installations are capable of hitting ground targets and what is the point if the Russian army is armed with "Kalibrs", "Daggers" and "Iskanders". Details in the new video! @ukr_leaks_eng ➡️YouTube upload of the video is here

Interesting video of Russians tracking Ukrainian soldiers in the salt mine tunnels of Soledar, 200 meters below ground. https://t.me/brussinf/5591

@brussinf

Finally things are starting to become interesting again... After the fall of Soledar and the increasing pressure on Artyomovsk (called Bakhmut for a couple more weeks), Russians started pushing from the South, around Orekhovo annd Gulyaypole. It cost Russians "lots" of vehicules stopped by mines, but the result was positive for Russians. And this has started to cause a panick among the Ukrainian army, which started to send troops to the area of Orekhovo, including from Kramatorsk. And there are many signs that this push from the South is, as they say in Russians, "little flowers", compared to what is coming. After months of grinding at Bakhmut and Soledar, the Ukrainian military already has trouble finding more resources to stop Russians at Orekhovo. But that's a diversion attack, to force Ukrainians to send forces there. Then Russians will launch the main (?) attack, which could be towards Kharkov again (or more modestly towards Lyman). This will cause the Ukrainian army to be overwhelmed, sending in everything to slow down Russians. And my theory is that once Ukrainian is breaking under the pressure from 3 intensive fronts, Russians will enter from Belarus. Officially it will still be all Russians, except that in reality it will be a coalition force. The Belarus military industry is repairing lots and lots of old military equipment https://t.me/modmilby/21995 (there are many other interestin posts in the channel of the BLR ministry of defence). Some analyst (McGregor?) claimed Russians would push all the way to Transdnestria. It's not clear they'd have enough men and equipement to do that, but Russians could certainly threaten Zhytomyr, which would change the picture and force the Kiev regime to play one of several losing moves, leading to a US defeat. Also, there are now rumours that to win, Russia could be forced to destroy bridges on the Dnepr after all, something that soldiers have been asking since March or April of last year. We've seen with the examples of the bridge near Kherson and the much smaller bridge in Zatoka that destroying bridges by missiles is not easy, so that part could be just rumours.

Now that Soledar is finally back under Russian control, one of the main Ukrainian channels is encouraging soldiers in Bakhmut to hold, because "all Ukraine is with you". This is so extraordinarily incongruous, given that Bakhmut is the meat-grinder of Ukrainian soldiers, and due to fall soon after the rate of meat coming in stops matching the rate of the meat coming down, that thousands of readers of that channel reacted with laughter. According to the "Resident" channel, Zaluzhny already asked permission to retreat from Bakhmut. Bakhmut was made into a critically important PR point for the Kiev regime, like Mariupol before (remember "Without Mariupol, there is no Ukraine"?). But like Mariupol before, the Kiev regime has started to explain that Bakhmut isn't so important. The families of the thousands of Ukrainian soldiers "MIA" there must be happy to know it didn't really matter. Ukrainians are starting to understand the scale of the losses.

Interesting thought by Onufrienko (note! the expression "Three Axes" means M777): Since the time of Napoleon, wars have been won by those whose military logistics proved to be cheaper and more reliable. And now the facts: "The administrator of one of the most combat-ready brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, participating in the battle for Bakhmut and Soledar, wrote in this regard: "The worst thing about energy problems as a result of strikes is not blackouts, not cold and not lack of water. The worst thing is the braking of railways, thanks to which carry out the transfer, reinforcement and transportation of equipment for repairs. Now we are already forced to repair one of our trump cards - the Three Axes artillery - only in Poland, and the whole process now takes several months. " According to him, “Just think about it: a battery whose barrels have broken today (and not necessarily due to combat impact) will be able to shoot from them again only in March-April! And what about other heavy weapons - for example, "Crabs", "Paziki-2000"? By the way, nothing has been heard about Paladins for a long time. Delivery of weapons and ammunition for the RF Armed Forces from the manufacturer - 1000-2000 km with one reload. Delivery of weapons and ammunition for the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the manufacturer - 8,000 - 12,000 with five reloads. No economy can sustain such a competition for long.

@ukr_leaks_fr

So, Russians coulf cross with all their equipment (apparently leaving 2 helicopters behind, Mi-2 and Mi-8 by... mistake???), before seriously damaging both bridges behind them (they can be repaired after the war...), and Ukraine could move to the front line, ie the river, all without losses, which caused both sides to talk about some secret agreement. In fact, as Russians were leaving, there was no reason for Ukrainians to engage combat and lose men in retaliation. And the idea of some kind of agreement doesn't really make sense, given that the US or Ukraine never respect them. Douglas McGregor says that if Russian wants to launch an offensive (Kherkov ?) they need to have a strong front elsewhere, hence the need to give up the logistically nightmarish Kherson. Makes sense, probably. HIMARS won that battle. Each side now needs just 10000 men or so along the river, which is a major obstacle. That frees up at least 10000 men for Russia, and at least 30000 for Ukraine. Russia took a couple villages. Opytnoe, not far from Donetsk to the N-E has its importance, as according to Russian correspondants, a water canal which should supply Donetsk and Gorlovka was blocked there. Most parts of Donetsk still have only very limited water. It's a crime against humanity to deprive a population from water supply, but that has been going on since 2014 with full NATO approval (both in Donetsk and Crimea). Because we Westerners are the good guys, I guess. In other news, Russians bought a HIMARS missile (or several?) on the black market, apparently, and are studying it.
