Here's What The Police Learned During Their Investigation 🔗Dorothy had been persecuted by an unknown man before the accident. He called her, often confessed his love for her and also threatened her. One day he called her and asked her to come out of the house, saying he had left her a surprise. When Dorothy approached her car, she saw a dried red rose on the windshield. After that, she began taking self-defense classes so that she could fight back in case she was attacked. 🔗After the abduction, the same man called her parents almost every week for 4 years. He asked if Dorothy was home, and sometimes confessed that he finished her off because she cheated on him. Detectives tried to track down the unknown man, but the calls were not long enough to locate him. 🔗The killer was definitely obsessed with Dorothy. He followed her and always knew where she was. The proof is that he kidnapped her on an unplanned trip to the hospital. It was an accident, but the kidnapper was prepared. 🔗In 1984, Dorothy's remains were found. Her mother also identified a ring and a watch that were near the bones. The condition of the skeleton made impossible to determine the exact time and cause of death. As a reminder, this is the '80s. We still don't know what happened with this woman. The parents died, the son grew up, but the man who tortured Dorothy is unknown. murderss: you won’t find typical crimes here

The Mysterious Disappearance: The Case of Dorothy Scott After 40 years, the case is still open. Dorothy Jane Scott was a 32-year-old secretary who lived a quiet life. Every morning, she brought her little son from Stanton to her parents' house in Anaheim to drive to work at the store. The incident occurred in May 1980. After work, Dorothy noticed that her coworker wasn't feeling well and had some strange spot on his arm. She offered to take him to the hospital and took another colleague with them just in case. A doctor determined that the stain on the arm was a black widow bite. While Dorothy and a second coworker waited in the hospital corridor, she decided to pull her car under the entrance so that the wounded one could reach the car. That was the last time anyone saw Dorothy alive. The men waiting for the car outside, but didn't see Dorothy. After a couple of minutes, her car, Toyota Corolla, drove past them like she was in a hurry. The headlights were too bright to see who was driving. The colleagues thought she had rushed to the parent's house because something had happened, so they waited for her. Two hours later they called her parents and it turned out that Dorothy wasn't there. That same night her parents, Jacob and Vera Scott, reported her missing to the police, but nobody began a search. There was no hard evidence that the woman is missing. She is an adult woman and shouldn't explain herself every time. The next morning, 10 miles from the hospital, police found Dorothy's burnt-out car. There were no bodies inside. Since then, they have been working on kidnapping theory. To be continued tomorrow... murderss: you won’t find typical crimes here

Can Philosophy Kill a Person who Studies It? Well, Yes and No Philosophical ideas influence your thoughts and actions. When these ideas are misinterpreted or when a person gets too deeply immersed in philosophy so that he obsesses over his life, it can lead to destructive behavior. It's not the philosophy itself that causes harm, but rather how individuals interpret and apply those ideas. If you explore different directions, learn to think critically, and ask the right questions, philosophy can help you move up a level in your own worldview. So yes, philosophy can end up killing you, but it can also save you. murderss: you won’t find typical crimes here

Body Farm | Place Where Bodies Just Lie On The Ground Human bodies are intentionally left there to decompose in order to study the process of decomposition. While the concept of a body farm may seem horrifying, it serves an important purpose in the development of forensics and helps law enforcement solve crimes. Boring Life and Thirst for Something Incomprehensible 19-year-old Marcel Hesse from Germany didn't know what to do with his life, so he spent all his time, except for sleep, playing computer games. When Marcel got tired of that, he decided to join the army, but they didn't take him. Then he thought that instead of the army he could go to prison. On March 5, 2017, Marcel stabbed a 9-year-old boy. He was found with about 60 stab wounds. Afterwards, he posted a photo of the murdered child on a forum with the caption: "I just killed the neighbour's child, doesn't feel bad tbh, my hand bleeds lil' which is the only thing annoying me." Police later said that Hesse also filmed the boy's death and posted the video and pictures on Darknet. After the murder, Hesse went to his friend Christopher. They hung out until Christopher saw Marcel's face on TV when a nationwide manhunt was announced to catch the killer. Hesse was afraid his friend would turn him over to the police. He killed him, too, stabbing 68 times and then reporting the new murder on the web. murderss: you won’t find typical crimes here

When Do Criminal Investigators Use a Laser Pointer? In short, a laser pointer creates a visible line. That's its main function. Most often they use it in examinations, during which firearms, ammunition and traces of their use are examined. For example, the criminals fired on cars with a pneumatic weapon and fled from there. What would a specialist do? He will use a laser to create a visible line and clearly indicate where the shots were fired from. murderss: you won’t find typical crimes here

🧺 The Phrase "Money Laundering" Came into Use Thanks to the World-Famous Mafioso Al Capone Money laundering means making the proceeds of criminal activity appear legal. Different schemes are used to disguise the real origin of the dirty money. One thing is always the same: they always launder the criminal proceeds, such as drug trafficking, tax evasion or corruption. Since Al Capone found it difficult to spend his ill-gotten gains under the scrutiny of the police, he created a huge network of low-cost laundromats. Of course, many people have been and are engaged in such activities, but it is Al Capone who is most often associated with the stable expression. murderss: you won’t find typical crimes here
