➨Kapoor, a 1987-batch IAS officer of the Himachal Pradesh cadre, superannuated as the secretary of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas on November 30, 2021.
3) An official name changing ceremony of Miyan ka Bada railway station to Mahesh Nagar halt was held in the Balotra area of Barmer district of Rajasthan.
➨Earlier in 2018, the name of the village was changed from Miyan ka Bada to Mahesh Nagar but the name of the railway station was not changed.

6) Ronnie O’Sullivan won a record seventh World Snooker Championship crown after beating Judd Trump 18-13 in the final.
➨Ronnie O'Sullivan equalled Stephen Hendry's record of seven world snooker titles in Sheffield.
7) Union Bank of India became the First Public Sector Bank to Go live on the Account Aggregator Framework.
➨ Union Bank will be both FIP (Financial Information Provider) and FIU (Financial Information User) enabling its customers to share data digitally on real time basis.

8) The Supreme Court has approved the formation of the Supreme Court Committee headed by Justice (retd) Pradeep Nandrajog for recovery of monies from the defaulters against whom National Spot Exchange Ltd has secured money decrees.
9) The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has appointed Alkesh Kumar Sharma as its new secretary.
➨A member of 1990 IAS batch from the Kerala cadre, Sharma replaces Ajay Prakash Sawhney, who was the secretary since June 2017.
10) The Coast Guard commissioned its second air squadron, 845 Squadron (CG), of Advanced Light Helicopter Mk-III at an event held at the Coast Guard air enclave, Nedumbassery in Kochi.
➨The commissioning was done by Coast Guard Director General V.S. Pathania.
11) The Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) has granted rights to the GMR Group to operate the Hyderabad international airport for 30 more years.
12) Harshada Sharad Garud scripted history by being the first Indian woman to win a gold medal at the IWF Junior World Championships in Heraklion, Greece.
➨ She won the 45-kilogram weight category with a total of 153 kilograms lifted, including 70 kilograms in Snatch and 83 kilograms in Clean and Jerk.
13) The central board of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) approved the appointment of executive director Rajiv Ranjan as an ex-officio member of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC).
➨ Ranjan will be succeeding Mridul Saggar, who reportedly retired in April.
