This is a common tactic of communists to attempt to restrict the speech, thought, and behaviour of any sort of opposition by portraying it as some form of psychological illness. It's extremely common for whistle-blowers, victims of crimes, and political opposition to have Marxists declare them as "insane." It's called punitive psychiatry. This is where Marxists abuse the powers of psychiatric law and authorities for the purpose of obstructing the human rights of individuals or groups in a society. This includes diagnosis, detention, and forced so-called treatment, which is often false imprisonment, along with combined physical and pharmacological torture. For example, the Soviet Union used psychiatry as a punitive means by deliberately interpreting dissidence as a psychiatric problem. They use false psychiatric diagnoses to politically abuse, discredit, or institutionalize opposition.
