They want to put all the Palestinians in Ireland? And thatโ€™s why they have already put so many immigrants there already? To prime the Irish and to make it look like a natural progression? Maybe the Prime Minister of Ireland will one day announce โ€˜We simply must take in the Palestinians to save them from genocideโ€™? A connection to Clare Dalyโ€™s passionate input at the EU Parliament? Maybe.

V TELEGRAM CHANNEL (URL victoryireland) OPINION PIECE: I hope that we all agree that the elections in June will be very important. These are the local and European elections and even more important will be the next general election that must be called by the 22nd of March. This is the only real opportunity to bring about change in three different areas of political influence, local, European and national. The last election amply demonstrated to us that once a government is elected it can do what it wants for the duration of its term and is only accountable to the electorate at the next election. At the last election did any political party canvass on โ€˜open bordersโ€™ or tell you that they supported mass inward migration of unvetted and undocumented males. Supposing if a political party disclosed that in advance would they be electable. I very much doubt so. Electioneering is about being economical with the truth at best or outright lying at worse. There is the presumption across all the political parties that people have short memories, that the โ€˜plebsโ€™ can be promised โ€˜bread and circusesโ€™ and contemptuously dismissed as a lesser breed of homo sapiens of limited intellect and little long term memory. Letโ€™s prove them wrong. One of the major disadvantages of the proportional representation system is that candidates who have very little public support can gain a Dรกil seat by benefiting from transfers, often given as final preferences without much thought. Once elected the candidate who has virtually no support can be appointed to a ministerial position and change society. Katherine Zappone was elected to the 32nd Dail on the 16th count on less than half a quota. She garnered a mere 4,463 first preference votes, 6โ€ข63% of the votes cast. The transfers of others finally placed her as the fifth highest placed candidate and she was finally elected on 0โ€ข4 of a quota after sixteen counts. But none of this matters after the election as she was appointed Minister of Children. I suspect that many of the final preferences were given away carelessly. Did people transfer to her because of her declared interest in the benefits of โ€˜witchcraftโ€™, her repudiation of Christianity as published in her book โ€˜The Hope of Wholenessโ€™. I suspect not or because of her strong pro abortion viewpoint or her aggressive support of LGBQT ideology. Again probably not. Perhaps she was just a name people recognised or maybe some had minor local contact with her. Regardless as minister of children she was in a position to introduce corrupting policies for children. She promoted โ€˜gender recognitionโ€™ changes, the redefinition of marriage and the repeal of the 8th amendment that legalised abortion. All this achieved on the back of 6โ€ข63% of votes in one constituency. What can be done to prevent a repeat of this debacle. Katherine Zappone was only one person but there were many many examples over the years where people of little national appeal managed to scrape into the Dail and weld disproportionate influence. This is a weakness in the proportional representation system and we must develop a strategy to defend against this weakness. The solution is simple, starve candidates of the transfer oxygen to climb up the PR ladder. This is achievable by simply giving a first or second preference to a trustworthy independent or a member of a trustworthy smaller party not yet represented in the Dรกil and to leave it at that. No careless giving of transfers to people whose opinions we do not fully know. No giving of votes to a candidate from a government or fake opposition party. No matter how well you know them when you think you are voting for them you are really voting for their party. Be careful with your vote, it is precious, donโ€™t bestow it on the unworthy and the duplicitous. If a candidate wants your vote they have the option of running as an independent, it is their choice. Let it be known that you will vote for an independent candidate that you trust and not a party that you do not trust. Letโ€™s make Proportional Representation work for us.

The question on many people's lips following Simon Harris's latest announcement is: why, in the face of overwhelming resistance, is he so determined to introduce a hate speech bill that is largely despised and benefits nobody except himself and a few snowflakes in his cabinet? The answer to that question is not that complicated. It's because he can, and that's what makes him a despicable, lying, self-serving reprobate. A full-blown narcissist, if you like, who will happily lie, cheat, and coerce unsuspecting members of the public into thinking this is the right thing to do. Make no mistake, this is a pernicious and dangerous piece of legislation that has profound implications for the majority of citizens in this country. I urge you to resist this bill purely on the strength of the extra powers it will give to the Gardai and the protection it offers to people like Harris and McEntee. Social media and freedom of speech as we know it will cease to exist, and to suggest certain minority groups will be offered greater protection is an absolute fallacy. https://twitter.com/Editorialz/status/1782730912628670634?t=EHybEIIpGjmpphrGo6QSsg&s=19
