The church used to sing “do what is right, let the consequence follow.” Now they ask us to be “civil” “global citizens”. We haven’t left, they left us

Mormon Bishops Discuss Their Experiences | Ep. 1862

Content warning: mentions of child ab*se, assault, suicid*lality  Four former Mormon Bishops - Beau, Nick, Jedd, and Rob - have an intimate discussion about the oft-hidden realities of serving in Mormon leadership, including the lack of training on handling abuse cases, near-suicidal stress levels, the painful contradictions between doctrine and human needs, and the ways bureaucratic priorities seem to trump pastoral care. With empathy and nuance, they peel back the curtain on issues like LGBTQ exclusion, leader worship, doubted spiritual 'gifts', unhealthy perfectionism, and the people left wounded when conference talks supersede mental health expertise - all while recognizing the very real human desire to do good amidst institutions not structured to support it. LDS Church can’t hide behind religion in Huntsman’s tithing lawsuit, lawyers argue

Using religion as a shield in tithing lawsuit risks harming other faiths, lawyers argue in James Huntsman’s case

Anyone notice how many talks praised Nelson, said to "think celestial", made mention of "covenants" many times in most talks? I find it interesting they would mention the second coming, return of the ten lost tribes (Nelson's closing remarks), and other topics they normally don't talk much about... Anderson even mentioned men's hearts should fail them in the last days! In light of the coming turmoil prophesied by Esra, it makes me think their globalist buddies tipped them off rather than actual inspiration. This is where I think this coming presidential election is going: 2nd Book of Ezra 11:31 And, behold, the head was turned with them that were with it, and did eat up the two feathers under the wing that would have reigned.

Interesting... Gordon B Hinckley said in October Conference 2001 after 9/11: "Now, brothers and sisters, we must do our duty, whatever that duty might be. Peace may be denied for a season. Some of our liberties may be curtailed. We may be inconvenienced. We may even be called on to suffer in one way or another." At an infamous BYU devotional in 2020, Dallin H Oaks said: “Please do your part in what is required in these unusual circumstances. And remember that some of the burdensome restrictions, including even the wearing of masks, are not only for your immediate protection but also for the well-being of those around you.” Now Oaks mentioned in the morning session today something about a small minority who thought their rights were more important than promises to an organized religion?

13 times President Nelson has pronounced blessings as Prophet – Church News CFM: Another picture of Nelson with his hands out. Another odd number to highlight. “That dear elder did not know the difference between a prayer and a priesthood blessing... I thought, ‘What a missed opportunity,’” President Nelson recalled. Priesthood power has been restored to the earth, “yet far too many brothers and sisters go through terrible trials in life without ever receiving a true priesthood blessing. What a tragedy.” CFM: Judgemental?
