በኢትዮጵያ 56 በመቶ የሚሆኑት ተማሪዎች ምንም አይነት ቃላት ማንበብ እንደማይችሉ አንድ ጥናት አመላከተ፡፡ የሀገር አቀፍ ፈተናዎች ኤጀንሲ አደረጉት ባለዉ ዓመታዊ ጥናቱ ላይ እንደገለፀው በኢትዮጵያ 56 በመቶ የሚሆኑ የ 2ኛ እና የ 3ኛ ክፍል ተማሪዎች ምንም አይነት ቃላት ማንበብ እንደማይችሉ አረጋግጫለሁ ብሏል። የሀገር አቀፍ ፈተናዎች ኤጀንሲ በተጠናቀቀው በጀት ዓመት ሲያከናዉን የቆየዉን ጥናት ይፋ አድርጓል ። በዚህም ከትግራይ ክልል በስተቀር በተለያዩ የሀገሪቱ ክልሎች የሚገኙ 401 ትምህርት ቤቶች እና በ 16 ሺህ ተማሪዎች ላይ በተደረገ ጥናት ዉጤቱ መገኘቱን አስታዉቀዋል። ይህ ቁጥር ከባለፉት አመታት ጋር ሲነፃፀር በመጠኑ መሻሻል አሳይታል የተባለ ሲሆን ከሁለት አመት በፊት የተደረገው ጥናት ምንም ማንበብ የማይችሉት 63 በመቶዎች እንደነበሩ ጥናቱ አመላክቷል።

ያልተመጠነ የሞባይል ስልክ አጠቃቀም ታዳጊዎችን ለአዕምሮ ህመም እየዳረገ መሆኑ ተመላከተ‼️ ያልተመጠነ የሞባይል ስልክ አጠቃቀም ታዳጊዎችን ለአዕምሮ ህመም እያጋለጠ መሆኑን ጥናቶች አመላከቱ፡፡ አሜሪካዊው የማህበራዊ ስነ-ልቦና ባለሙያ ጆናታን ሃይት ይፋ ባደረጉት ጥናት እንዳመላከቱት÷ የአዕምሮ ህመም የሚያጋጥማቸው በአስራዎቹ እድሜ የሚገኙ ታዳጊዎች ቁጥር ከጊዜ ወደ ጊዜ እየጨመረ መጥቷል፡፡ አሜሪካ ባሉ የኮሌጅ ተማሪዎች ላይ ባለሙያው ባካሄዱት ጥናት ከፈረንጆቹ 2010 እስከ 2018 ድረስ የስነ አዕምሮ ህመም ያለባቸው ታዳጊዎች ቁጥር በእጥፍ መጨመሩን ማረጋገጣቸውን ተናግረዋል። በ2020 ደግሞ ይህ ቁጥር በእጅጉ መጨመሩን ጠቅሰው፤ በተጠቀሰው ዓመት በአዕምሮ ህመም ድንገተኛ ክፍል በርካቶች ሊገቡ መገደዳቸውን አንስተዋል። በአዕምሮ ህመም ምክንያት ራሳቸውን ለማጥፋት የሚሞክሩ ታዳጊዎች ቁጥርም የጨመረ መሆኑን አመልክተዋል። እንደ አሜሪካዊው የማህበራዊ ስነ-ልቦና ባለሙያ ምርምር፤ እነዚህ የአዕምሮ ጤና ችግሮች የሚመጡት በአብዛኛው ዘመናዊ ስልኮች ታዳጊዎች እጅ ላይ በቀላሉ መድረሳቸውን ተከትሎ እንደሆነ ጠቁመዋል፡፡ በስልኮቹ ምክንያት ህፃናት ከቤተሰብ እና ከጓደኞቻቸው ጋር ትንሽ ጊዜያትን ብቻ ያሳልፋሉ ያለው ጥናቱ÷ በአንፃሩ ታዳጊዎች በስልኮች ቀጥታ ጨዋታዎችን (ኦንላይን ጌም) በመጫወት እና ማህበራዊ ሚዲያዎችን በመጠቀም አብዛኛውን ጊዜያቸውን ያሳልፋሉ ብሏል፡፡ በዚህም ታዳጊዎቹ ለኦንላይን ጌሞችና ለማህበራዊ ሚዲያ ሱሱ የሚጋለጡ ሲሆን ከዚህም ባለፈ ከእድሜያቸው ጋር የማይሄዱ እና ጎጂ የሆኑ ተንቀሳቃሽ ምስሎችን ሊመለከቱ እንደሚችሉ አስነብቧል፡፡ ታዳጊዎች ስቀው ተጫውተው እንጂ ትኩረታቸውን ስልክ ላይ አድርገው ማደግ የለባቸውም የሚለው ጥናቱ÷ ወላጆች የልጆቻቸውን ስልክ አጠቃቀም መወሰን እንደሚገባቸው እና በስልክ ምክንያት ከሚመጡ አደጋዎች ልጆቻቸውን ሊጠብቁ እንደሚገባ አሳስቧል።

#Update የ2016 ዓ.ም የ12ኛ ክፍል ብሔራዊ ፈተና በሰኔ ወር እንደሚሰጥ የትምህርት ምዘናና ፈተናዎች አገልግሎት አሳውቋል። በዚህ ዓመት የሚሰጠውን የ12ኛ ክፍል ሀገር አቀፍ ፈተና ለመውሰድ ከ670 ሺህ በላይ ተማሪዎች ምዝገባ ማድረጋቸውን የአገልግሎቱ ዋና ዳይሬክተር እሸቱ ከበደ (ዶ/ር) በቅርቡ መግለፃቸው ይታወሳል፡፡ የፀጥታ ችግር ካለባቸው አካባቢዎች በስተቀር በአብዛኛው የአገሪቱ አካባቢዎች የተማሪዎች ምዝገባ መጠናቀቁም ተገልጿል። የፈተናው ሕትመት በቀጣይ ቀናት እንደሚጀመር ለኢሳት የገለፁት ዋና ዳይሬክተሩ፤ የ2016 ዓ.ም የ12ኛ ክፍል መልቀቂያ ፈተና በሰኔ ወር እንደሚሰጥም አረጋግጠዋል፡፡ ለ3ኛ ጊዜ በዩኒቨርሲቲዎች ውስጥ የሚሰጠው ብሔራዊ ፈተናው፤ ዘንድሮ ለተፈጥሮ ሳይንስ እና ማኅበራዊ ሳይንስ የትምህርት መስኮች ለእያንዳንዳቸው በስድስት የትምህርት አይነቶች እንዲሰጥ ትምህርት ሚኒስቴር መወሰኑ አይዘነጋም፡፡
