Alarming is the absence of age restrictions and bypassing of the Classification Review Board's scrutiny, violating the Classification Act of 1995. Public Service Commissioner Peter Woolcott's October 25th, 2022, Child Safety Statement underscores a zero-tolerance stance on child abuse. The pervasive explicit materials can be seen as a form of child grooming, jeopardizing children's safety. Unlike adults, children lack the developed filter to discern inappropriate content and may succumb to peer pressure. The petition calls for these explicit publications to be confined to restricted areas, safeguarding children from unrestricted access." (Here)
