Never be sad on weekend. Cry during office days and get paid for your depression.
Don't let capitalism win.. 🥂

♦️SAVE YOUR DAUGHTERS
FROM GROOMING. ♦️
Every week, we witness cases of minor girls being groomed by AC mechanics, drivers, school dropouts, delivery boys, etc. Tragically, many of these girls end up eloping, experiencing sexual assault, or even losing their lives.
As parents, one of the biggest mistakes we make is ignoring what's happening around us and believing that it couldn't happen to our own kids. We believe that good parenting is providing kids with a good quality of life, education, gadgets, entertainment, and vacations, while paying little attention to the cultural and social factors at play, as well as the influence of media like films, TV, and the internet. We fail to have important conversations with our kids about love, age-appropriate sexuality, threats, and warning signs.
♦️There are 4 main contributing factors to grooming:
A) Puberty : This stage brings about hormonal changes, making kids curious, emotionally unstable, and rebellious. They begin to think independently and seek answers to questions that many parents avoid discussing.
B) Lack of parental connection: When parents are not emotionally available for their children and fail to proactively communicate, children seek answers elsewhere, often turning to friends or "friendly adults" who appear helpful.
C) Influence of media: Films, TV,
and internet have a significant impact on kids. They learn about love, relationships, and more from these sources. Media often portrays love as disregarding boundaries, backgrounds, financial situations, and cultural factors, making kids vulnerable targets for groomers.
D) Groomers: They are well-versed in manipulation. They exploit kids by being kind, showering attention, portraying themselves as victims, demonizing parents, emotionally manipulating kids against their families, ultimately leading to their abduction or exploitation.
What to do? Engage in open and frequent conversations, addressing potential dangers they may face and teaching them appropriate responses. Explain the harmful nature of certain behaviors, closely observe their actions, and provide emotional support.
♦️Remember the key : Don't say xyz is dangerous. Explain why xyz is dangerous. Explain how xyz will approach them. How it'll not appear as a threat initially. How it's harmless and nice nature will make you feel the maybe your parents were wrong about them.
May sound harsh, it is true that if an adult grooms your minor daughter, blame falls on the parents as well. Predators exist everywhere, and it is our responsibility to keep our daughters safe and empower them with the knowledge and skills to protect themselves.
