🏛🇨🇳 Chinese delegation visited our campus in the Novokoltsovsky district Sergey Tushin, Vice-Rector for International Relations, gave a tour around the campus to Chinese colleagues on July 10. They observed dormitories and a sports center and had a chance to talk to one of the students living on the campus. 🌳 The Vice-Rector also showed a unique tree alley and suggested that colleagues plant authentic Chinese trees there.

"It is a modern campus with good conditions for learning and development. We are surprised by the infrastructure. There are a lot of professors and the scenery is beautiful," said the head of Ordos.

🏛🇷🇺 UrFU will train personnel and implement innovations at the enterprises of Republika Srpska UrFU representatives met with Peter Djokovic, Minister of Energy and Mining of the Republic of Srpska, and discussed key projects in the scientific and educational fields on July 9 in the framework of the delegation's visit to the Innoprom. ✍️In the near future, the parties agreed to conclude a tripartite agreement on the organization of a joint educational process with the participation of employer, university, and student, with subsequent employment of graduates in the enterprises of Republika Srpska.

🏛🇲🇳University alumnus appointed as Mongolia's Energy Minister Battogtokh Choijilsuren, a graduate of the Ural Polytechnic Institute (now UrFU), has been reappointed Minister of Energy of Mongolia. Prime Minister Luvsannamsrain Oyun-Erdene has already signed a decree appointing new cabinet members.

"Battogtokh Choijilsuren helps unite our alumni in Mongolia. I would especially like to recognize his dedication and energy in promoting the Russian language in this country, creating the Mongolia endowment, and supporting our students in finding employment," says Alexander Ponomaryov, head of the Department of Youth Outreach.

🇯🇴🇷🇺Our PhD student from Jordan successfully defended his thesis 🧑‍🎨 Sakher Al-Tamimi defended his PhD thesis and became a qualified specialist in the field of art. He expresses his gratitude to UrFU and shares his plans for the future.

🇷🇺🇦🇪4,500 terms included in the Russian-Emirati psychological dictionary On July 9, researchers from the Ural Institute of Humanities presented a psychological dictionary created together with colleagues from the UAE at the Innoprom exhibition and forum in Ekaterinburg.

"The Russian-Emirati Psychological Dictionary is a significant result of scientific and educational cooperation between the Sheikh Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination and our university. In addition, it is the first scientific experience of creating a Russian-Arabic educational dictionary of psychological terms, contributing to scientific cooperation between the UAE and Russia," notes professor Elvira Symanyuk, Editor-in-Chief of the publication and Director of the UrFU UrIH.

✍The working group includes not only psychologists, but also linguists and philologists, as well as specialists in international relations and Arab culture. 📖 The dictionary is now available both electronically and in print. The compilers are confident that the edition will not be the only one.

💼🌍 SCO Deputy Secretary-General Visited UrFU On July 8, Sohail Khan, Deputy Secretary-General of the SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization) had a fruitful visit to UrFU. The Deputy Secretary-General attended several events: the opening ceremony of the Summer University and a meeting with Victor Koksharov, UrFU Rector. 🏛 In the framework of the meeting with the Rector, the parties discussed the perspectives of SCO University, the possibility of researching the topics suggested by the SCO and organizing SCO events based on the university grounds. 💫 During the opening ceremony of the Summer University, Sohail Khan delivered a lecture to the participants. He spoke about the history and activities of the SCO and emphasized the importance of interethnic interaction.

🇷🇺🏛 Students from all over the world get acquainted with the Russian higher education system On July 8, Summer University started at UrFU: 400 students from Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, South Ossetia, Moldova, India, Mexico, Algeria, Jordan, and South Africa gathered at the university.

"I am sure that your days at UrFU will be remembered forever because we have prepared a very rich program. You will get the best knowledge and a wonderful communication experience, both with teachers and each other in all six areas," noted Victor Koksharov, Rector of UrFU.

✍️ The project participants will undergo an educational program in six directions and nine tracks. They will work on projects and get acquainted with the capital of the Urals during two weeks.
