This is just something to keep for our archives. Over the many decades, I have had Indian Sri Vaishnavas criticize me for not performing this branding during initiations. I tried explaining to them that it is not only unnecessary, but could actually instigate serious legal action in the future, especially in the Western nations. Here is the beginning of just that, even if from an anti-Hindu account. Take care.
